How can I get involved in the youth ministry?

We believe that every gift has a place—but every calling requires preparation. At DDC, involvement in youth ministry is not about jumping into a role, but about growing into alignment with the heart of Christ and the culture of discipleship.

 

There are opportunities to serve in areas like events, mentorship, music, nutrition & wellness, Christ-centered counseling, and more. Some may already be walking in a calling and want to partner with what God is doing here—others may be in a season of training and discovery.

 

Whatever the case, our process is intentional.

We value spiritual maturity, accountability, and discernment—especially in sensitive areas like mentorship and counseling. Our goal is not just to fill roles, but to build a community of trusted vessels who carry God’s heart with humility and wisdom.

What age groups do you cater to?

At the Devoted Disciples of Christ Youth Community (DDC), we welcome everyone with a heart for Christ—regardless of age. Our community is open to those who embrace the childlike faith described in Matthew 18:3, where we seek humility, teachability, and a hunger for God’s truth. While we cater to all ages, from young children to adults, our focus is on spiritual growth and authentic discipleship. Whether you’re young in years or in spirit, there’s a place for you to grow, learn, and serve.

Do you offer online services as well?
Yes, we offer online services for those who are unable to join us in person, allowing everyone to participate in our community.
